Can you remember 10, 20, 30, or 40 years ago when you walked across the stage full of school administrators, shook a variety of hand’s, and accepted your diploma?
I can remember having butterflies in my stomach before my graduation and thinking to myself “don’t trip”.
With recent technological advances and the help of companies around the United States, disabled students will also have the chance to feel butterflies in their stomach as they safety access their school’s graduation stage.
The mobilift was designed with safety as the top priority. The lift cannot be operated without constant pressure on the switch, requiring an attendant at all times. The upper landing (at 42” high) has gate locks preventing the lift from falling due to mechanical or human failure. If the lift does become stuck due to mechanical failure, there is a built-in hand crank allowing the attendant to override the system.
