The HandiRamp Portable Horse Mounting Ramp is the ideal solution to make horseback riding accessible to a wide range of individuals. Whether it be a small child, a person riding a horse for the first time, or someone with disabilities partaking in equine-assisted therapy, the HandiRamp Horse Mounting Ramp makes it significantly easier for people to mount a horse.
The aluminum ramp includes a platform, 2 ramp sections, a support leg piece, and handrail sections. Each ramp section and 2 sides of the platform have 2″ safety side curbs as well as handrail brackets to attach the double bar handrails. The horse mounting platform measures 4’W x 6’L x 30″H, each ramp section is 6′ long, and each handrail section is 38″ high. The surface of the ramp features HandiRamp’s patented raised button non-slip surface. The surface does not require any special treatment and can be completely cleaned using just a garden hose.
The ramp is portable, so it can be used in multiple places throughout your location. If you move your entire location, the ramp can travel with you. The HandiRamp horse mounting ramp can be easily assembled by 2 people with basic tools. When not in use, the ramp can be disassembled and stored away or transported in the bed of a pickup truck.
Installation and set up of the HandiRamp horse mounting ramp is quick and easy. First, attach the legs and braces to the horse mounting platform. Then, position the platform and place the support legs approximately 6 feet from the platform. Next, connect the first ramp section to the platform and the support legs. Then, connect the second ramp section to the support legs and rest the other end of the ramp on the ground. Finally, place your handrails on each side of the ramp and 2 sides of the platform by setting them into the brackets. Disassembling the ramp is just as quick and easy- simply follow the install instructions in the reverse order.
