Constructed from nylon glass filled plastic the platform weighs just 5.5 lbs and can be easily attached to a vehicle by anyone. A nice feature is the step requires no installation and can be used on multiple vehicles with a 2″ receiver hitch. The hitch step comes standard with a non-slip corrosion resistant surface to improve safety.

The hitch receiver adapter is designed to connect the step’s 2″ receiver to a vehicle that has a 1¼” hitch.
The Otto Hitch Extension is designed to extend the step from 6″ out to 22″ allowing you to use your Otto Step with the pickup truck gate fully extended.
The 7″ drop down hitch adapter is designed for SUVs with a modified suspension system – the adapter will drop the step a full 7″ making it easier for your pet to access your vehicle.

I bought this for my nine year old black lab so he would have an easier time getting up into my SUV. He jumps over it! LOL It’s going to take some time to get him used to it but it will happen. Thanks !

We purchased a hitch step from you to help our 12-year-old sled dog get into the truck, and are thrilled with it. The big dog relies on it, and our smaller dog, too short to make the jump, uses it too. I wish you had a share button on the page, so I could post it easily to Facebook. Great product!
