Portable Threshold Ramps Come in Handy for New Home

Not long ago I took a call from a family who recently moved out of a 3 bedroom apartment and into a more spacious 4 bedroom home, bringing them closer to their retired, aging parents who themselves live in a small 2 bedroom home.

The move allowed them to more freely navigate around the house without stepping on each others toes, and also granted their parents more access when they wanted to visit.

Sadly, all three entrances to the new home had a 3-6” threshold difference, making it hard for them to enter and exit whenever they please.  They weren’t over often enough to fix the threshold, yet something needed to be done to prevent injuries and unnecessary pain in their joints.
