HandiRamp 3-Year Cargo Van Ramp Warranty

A cargo van ramp lives a hard life: deployed every day, walked on in rain and snow, and trusted with the tools, equipment, packages, appliances, and people that keep a business moving.

That is why HandiRamp builds its Cargo Van Ramps differently. Instead of relying on bolted-together main components and short warranty coverage, each HandiRamp CVR is hand-welded in the USA and backed by a three-year structural warranty, plus a one-year warranty on moving, operating, and wear components.

In plain English, here’s what’s covered and for how long.

Three-year structural warranty

The following structural components are covered for three years:

  • Ramp frame
  • Ramp deck and supporting structure
  • Cross supports and braces
  • Support legs
  • Hinges
  • Handles
  • Factory welds

One-year component warranty

The following moving, operating, and wear components are covered for one year:

  • Gas shocks
  • Springs
  • Pins and bushings
  • Latches
  • Rubber feet and pads
  • Similar moving or replaceable components

These components are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear from repeated use is not considered a defect.

What HandiRamp Will Do

If HandiRamp confirms that a covered component failed because of a defect in materials or workmanship during the warranty period, HandiRamp will choose one of these options:

  • Repair the defective component;
  • Provide a replacement component; or
  • Replace the product with the same product or a reasonably comparable one.

Replacement parts may look different if the original part is no longer available.

A repaired or replacement component will be covered for the rest of the original warranty period, or for 90 days from the date it ships, whichever is longer.

HandiRamp’s standard warranty remedy is repair or replacement. Any additional rights required by applicable law are not affected.

Other Costs

This warranty does not cover third-party inspection or labor, removal or reinstallation, vehicle work, service or travel, towing, shipping, rental equipment, lost income, business interruption, or downtime.

On the rare occasion that a problem occurs, HandiRamp will work with you to minimize the inconvenience.

If you expect to request reimbursement, HandiRamp must approve the expense in writing before the work is performed.

Warranty Limitations

This limited warranty replaces all other express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

HandiRamp’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing a covered defective part. HandiRamp is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the product.
