The HandiRamp Lightweight Material Handling Ramp is the latest innovation in material handling safety and convenience. The ramp makes transitioning from one floor level to another safe and simple, making the moving, loading, or unloading cargo with motorized and non-motorized material handling tools more efficient than ever before. The ramp is also the ideal solution to make work areas with steps, ledges, or platforms compliant with OSHA safety standards. The ramp adheres to OSHA standards 1910.22(c) and 1926.451(e)(5)(ii) regarding safe access and egress between working surfaces as well as ramp slope.
The unique modular construction of the ramp consists of multiple 5-ft long aluminum sections that are supported by steel legs. We designed the ramp this way so that it can be easily deployed, taken down, and stored in just 20 minutes by two people using simple hand tools. This modular construction also allows for the ramp to have a gradual slope so that pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, or other warehouse vehicles can function properly and safely as if they were being used on flat ground.
The ramp has a capacity of 3,000 lbs, which is more than enough for using most warehouse vehicles or material handling tools. The surface of the ramp features a non-slip diamond pattern that prevents slips and falls while the ramp is in use. For added safety, guardrails run along the sides of the ramp.
Of course, the lightweight material handling ramp can also be equipped with aluminum handrails for both OSHA compliance and added safety for those walking up and down the ramp.
