Best non slip tread I have seen. I used some plastic ones before and they broke down after a few years. These have plenty of grip, the proper amount of screws, and quality sturdy metal construction. These have been on one rental unit for several years and still look and work great. I just ordered more for another rental unit I have in the 36″ size. It is terrible to slip down a set of stairs and even worse if someone else does and you are to blame. I feel much better with these on.

Got the treads installed and they are fantastic! I installed them on an exterior stairway to a mother-in-law apartment on the second floor of my house. The stairway is on the north side of the house, and over the course of the rainy months (3/4 of the year here in Oregon) algae builds up on the steps, making them like ice. Very slippery! Even when there’s no algae the steps are pretty slick just with the rain. Having the Handi-Treads on the steps is a huge improvement. I now feel very secure walking up and down the stairway, with no worries about slipping. Plus the Handi-Tread clearly delineates each step visually, another safety feature. Thank you for offering a very useful and unique product.

Excellent! They arrived a night before the big snow storm here in NY as I got home from work and in less than 1/2 an hour (at night) I was finished screwing them to my new front entrance stairs. They look great in the black and they do the job. I am thinking of getting more.

The treads were installed approx. 8” from bottom of tread to top of next tread. the feedback we received from the client was that they love the product, and the spacing for their stride was perfect for both their elderly mother, and themselves who are around 6’2”.
btw – the deck was constructed with Camo Fasteners so without any screws showing the deck and ramp look extra sleek. Thanks for all your assistance – we too are very happy with the product and the end result. best wishes

The quality of this tread is very good. They blend with my staircase and has reduced my salt usage so far in this early winter season. The screws I bought with it blend into the tread – you can’t see ’em!
