I bought these about 5 years ago , here in NY with the winters they work great . The only issue I’m having is they’re pitting underneath from putting salt on the steps however it’s a lot cheaper than surgery! Time to replace these after 5 years.

We purchased Handi-Treads Non-Slip Aluminum Treads to replace the poor quality stick-on treads on our shed ramp that we had purchased at a local hardware store (they slid off after the first rainstorm, as did my husband!). The Handi-Ramp treads are strong, and look great on our ramp. They came complete with hardware, were easy to put down and are secured tightly so we no longer have to worry about slipping on the ramp.
I wish we’d found them sooner, we could have saved time, money and a few bruises!

The 30″ x 3.75″ Aluminum Stair Treads that we purchased have completely done away with our slippery when wet problem, when it rains. These we installed on wooden steps to temporary Student Classroom Trailers to ease overcrowding. I’m sure we will use additional treads like these in the future application.

After shopping around the internet I found Handi-Ramp. They had exactly what I needed, 30″ Non-Skid Stair Tread – Silver
Tread. I placed my order and surprisingly they arrived a lot sooner than I had anticipated. I installed them on a handicap ramp

I searched for a product like this online for almost two weeks, and this tread seems to be the best cost-effective method to keep my father from falling on his stairs. He’s already had one hip replacement due to other injuries – he doesn’t need two!
