HandiTreads Used Indoors to Help with Balance on Stairs

When people purchase Handi-Treads more often than not the treads will be mounted to an outdoor area, such as stairs, a walkway, a ramp etc.  As it is, many do not think of the indoor benefits a tread might have to other stairs or walkways.  Just recently, we had a customer purchase some of our 3.75” x 30” powder coated black treads for his entryway.  He liked the tread protection so well that they purchased 15 of our 9” wide nosings for his basement stairs, which were almost 15” deep.

Regaining Balance with HandiTreads

Often as we get older in life our balance fades. The customer aforementioned had some balance issues due to plantar fasciitis, or inflammation of the tissue on the bottom of the foot.  Walking down stairs can be particularly painful and notably dangerous putting pressure on parts of the feet not used to being used.  Installing carpet would have made the steps softer to walk on, but much more expensive.  The customer also knew that non slip grit tape and grip paint were not an option.
