The top driving resourses for Oklahoma’s economy are composed of energy, finance, transportation and distribution, biosciences and agriculture, aerospace and defense.  It is the U.S’s third largest producer of natural gas and has thousands of oil wells, one of them being on the front lawn of the state capitol building. Other natural resources produced are coal and limestone. Manufacturing is another an important industry in Oklahoma. Most factories in the state of Oklahoma produce parts for the aerospace and automobile industry. Other plants produce electronical components.
