Handi-Ramp Designs Unique Accessory for Pet Ramps

Many vehicles on the road today are not designed to accommodate a portable pet ramp that will assist your pet into the rear seat. If someone were to attempt to place the ramp, they would quickly realize one corner of the ramp sits on the seat, while the other hangs in the air, creating a dangerous situation for both you and your pet.

As a result, a Chicagoland based company called Handi-Ramp designed a simple, inexpensive solution to that problem, naming it the ‘side support strap’. This support strap is unique only to the PetStep portable ramp, making the combination exclusive. Made of nylon, the adjustable strap will work in most vehicles and attaches to both sides of the ramp allowing access to either the left or right side door.

The strap itself is very simple to work, and requires very little time when securing to the vehicle. At one end of the strap is a hook that secures to the ramp, while the other end (a rubber coated steel hook) simply attaches to the door frame. When fully connected, the ramp will safely allow your pet to access the vehicle.
