How to Keep Up with the Summer Demand for Beverages

It was another summer day at Handi-Ramp, in a summer of unpredictable temperatures, when the phone rang. I could hear the raspy and dry voice from the other end.  It was a potential customer calling us from a beverage distribution center in Tennessee.  With temps up and down all summer across much of the nation, their beverage sales had picked up so much they needed a way to deliver their beverages faster.

The Problem

The distributor was expanding their fleet to include six new distribution trucks and they wanted a loading ramp that was small, lightweight and portable, one that would work with loading docks.

The Solution

A Handi-Ramp dock board.  Dock boards are the perfect solution because they are smaller than yard ramps and can be stowed away in the back of a semi trailer.  Dock boards can be used with both pallet jacks and forklifts, providing a versatile solution to the problem.

Although we were not able to moderate the temperature and control the demand for cold beverages, having the peace of mind knowing that the dock boards were on their way provided some relief in knowing that the beverage distributor could meet the supply and demand of the marketplace.
