Threshold ramps are designed differently than portable ramps.

Threshold ramps are designed to bridge door thresholds as opposed to something with a larger rise. Portable ramps are used to reach heights or rises of 2 ft or higher. Threshold ramps are designed to reach heights of ¼ to 9″.

Because threshold ramps are smaller than portable ramps, they weigh less and can be easily carried and stored. Take them with you wherever you go to ensure that door thresholds do not pose a barrier to mobility.
