Handi-Ramp offers both fixed and adjustable ADA-compliant threshold ramps. Fixed threshold ramps are not inherently adjustable but can be elongated and heightened with the addition of larger ramp sections. Adjustable threshold ramps feature adjustable legs that can be heightened/shortened to specifications within a certain range.
An adjustable threshold ramp is desirable in circumstances where the height of the door threshold does not perfectly match the height of one of our fixed threshold ramps. The adjustability allows for the user to perfectly match the height of the threshold within a fraction of an inch.
Adjustable threshold ramps are also useful when the surface upon which the ramp will rest is higher on one side of the doorway than on the other. the infinite adjustability allows you to be sure that the height of the ramp perfectly matches that of the doorway threshold.
